Life with cerebral palsy, as documented by a twin

Photojournalist Chris Capozziello has put together a book of pictures documenting his twin brother's life during the last thirteen years. His brother, Nick, has cerebral palsy, and the project was developed as a way to help Chris learn about life, suffering, and faith.

Epilepsy and brain science

According to an article at NPR, scientists having been using patients who have epilepsy to study the way our brains work. By implanting tiny electrodes in various parts of the brain, doctors can learn more about which parts of the brain control movement, speech, and even the will to persevere.

Charity Questions Traditional Body Image

This past Tuesday was this year's International Day Of Disabled Persons. As part of a new campaign called “Because Who Is Perfect? Come Closer,” the Swiss charity Pro Infirmis sought to expose the public to a wide range of body types through clothing store mannequins.
