Henry provides several at home and school tasks that help children with autism, specifically ages two to ten, in writing, reading, sorting, matching, math and motor functions. Not only is the book great for professionals it is also a wonderful tool for parents. How Do I Teach this Kid? goes step by step in explaining what "task boxes" are, how to create a system where the child will start to learn independently, what to do once you've acquired the material for the tasks, and even tips for constructing he tasks. Examples of Individual Education Plan goals and data sheets for tracking the tasks can be found at the end of the book.
