Assistive technology in the kitchen

According to an article found on, there are many simple (and not so simple) tips and tricks to help make a kitchen more accessible to people with disabilities. Using a mirror can help those who use a wheelchair see into a pan of food. Not preheating an oven can help those with vision impairments avoid burns. Or simply using a very sharp knife can help everyone avoid accidentally cutting themselves.
